I just sort of fell into a bohemian lifestyle. It kind of just happens when you’re 23. In search of the next great party.The next great band. The dive bar of the moment, soon to close after too many fines for afterhours busts. I fell into it, and the beds of my lovers, that become crashpads and sometimes love nests. I fell into it, whenever I was suddenly single and needing a couch to surf upon, or a writers den to commiserate in over tarry coffee and spit licky smokes. I fell into it, when we scrounged together our meagre earnings for elaborate dinners of indian curry. I fell into, when we brought back empties for our next 12 pack of cheap domestic. I fell into it, when I shared a magnum of wine and a half pack of smokes with my contemporaries. I fell into it, out til’ 3am, with an afterparty til’ 10am followed by brunch and a nap, only to get up at 8pm, shower and do it all over again. I fell into it, and walked away, and now i’m looking back.
