About
In February 2009, Randall Brown (left, in the Def Leppard British flag shirt, circa 1983) purchased the domain flashfiction.net from its previous owner, Preston Brady, who used it to market coffee cups imprinted with very short stories.
FlashFiction.Net has a singular mission: to prepare writers, readers, editors, and fans for the imminent rise to power of that machine of compression, that hugest of things in the tiniest of spaces: flash freakin fiction! Degree candidates from Rosemont College’s MFA in Creative Writing Program often provide craft articles, critical readings, chapbook reviews, interviews, and the like. FlashFiction.Net also enjoys a (very) close relationship with Matter: The Journal of Compressed Creative Arts.
