Hi Randall,
I'm wondering why you consider flash fiction so important? And why you've excluded me (of course, I'm an earlier generation) from your network though you facebooked me so you must have some awareness of my short short collections or my guide Fast Fiction which was the only one for short shorts for quite a few years.
Best,
Roberta Allen

Hi, Roberta. I saw your note on the “Authors” page of FlashFiction.Net and of course wanted to respond. FlashFiction.Net is definitely a work in-progress, and the current list of authors is by no means definitive. The vast majority of these listed authors contacted me with their websites/blogs and/or a representative story. I’ve hired a designer to work with me to improve the look of the site, and I was waiting for that to be complete before adding to this list.
At SLQ, we published your piece “Foreign Woman,” one of my all-time favorites. I would be thrilled if you ever wanted to do either an interview or a guest blog about flash fiction. I’d love to include you on the “Authors” page, and all I need to do that is the website you’d like linked to your name and a link to a representative story.
I’m not sure why Flash Fiction is important to the world-at-large, but it’s been very important to me, and I find I have endless enthusiasm and respect for the form and its practitioners. I didn’t mean any disrespect by not having your name in the authors section; I have only respect and admiration for you and your work.
Best,
Randall Brown

You don't have a good flash-fiction writer mentioned on your site. I highly recommend "102 Shades of Blue" by Samuel R. Himes--I think you'd enjoy it too!
Thanks, Jack Tripp

Thanks for the suggested reading. Where can I find "102 Shades of Blue"?

Hi Randall! Thanks for the reply. I have seen "102 Shades of Blue" for sale at amazon.com. I received my personal copy at my local Barnes and Noble--I'm sure if your local bookstore doesn't have it on a shelf they could probably order one in for you.
I hope this helps...I thought the book was a good read!
Thanks, Jack Tripp

Psyched to see you've included Tania Hershman. I bought her book a couple of months ago and loved it!
