Sunday Micro: The Final Five Words of The Year

Once more, for this last time this year, Richard Osgood at The Flash Factory private office at Zoetrope Virtual Studio provides five words to use in a 50- or 55-word micro. Here are the words:

recipe
chalk
gimmick
sinuous
nonsense

Here, the cook bakes without recipes. She says it leaves room for nonsense. To be sinuous, if you are a girl, is to be unkind. I stay silent, the wrong thing always on the tip of my tongue. The cook calls me "Chalk." She doesn't mean it as a gimmick.
